Russian army would like to upgrade BMD-1 airborne armoured infantry fighting vehicle 2304132

The Russian Defense Ministry has announced a tender for the modernization of BMD-1 airborne fighting vehicles, and plans to spend almost 3.4 billion rubles (around $100 million) on that goal, the state procurements agency said on Monday, April 22, 2013.
